1. Multiplying by 11
a*11 = a + 10*a
Example
76 * 11
=76+76*10
=76+760
=836
The second trick
2. Multiplying with Numbers ending in 5 (X= 1to9)
a * X5 = a/2 *2(X5)
Example.
83*45
= 41.5*2(45)
=41.5*90
=415*9
=3735

3. Multiplying by 15
a * 15 = (a+a/2)*10
Example.
77*15
=(77+38.5)*10
=1155

4. Multiplying by 45
a*45=50*a - 50*a/10
Example.
59*45
=50*59 - 50*59/10
=2950 - 295
